Batik Scarves
The art of Batik is a longstanding tradition in southern Thailand. These stunning Batik scarves were designed by a two-person team, comprising a Thai woman working on the Transrural supported livelihoods project, and an Italian volunteer designer - a collaboration which brings together Thai tradition and culture, with Italian design flair.
Transrural have supported this post-tsunami project in Trang, Southern Thailand since 2005.
